Learn Who We Are

  • EDITH WOOLFOLK
    REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

I have been in the dental field for almost 25 years, and more than a dozen as a registered dental hygienist. I love interacting with patients and the doctors, and enjoy working independently with patients.

The best part of my job is teaching people. It is rewarding to see the changes and improvements in their oral health habits because of what they’ve learned here. I’m always excited to share information about new dental technology and educate patients on the correlation between our general health, systemic diseases, and oral health as a whole.

I am originally from Mexico City and have lived in Santa Barbara for the past 30 years. I have a wonderful husband and three children, as well as a dog named Roxy. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, working out, and spending time with my family and friends.

  • VICTORIA RICCI
    FRONT DESK

I really enjoy the interactions I have with our patients and getting to know them. I am responsible for our patients’ scheduling, billing, and insurance processing.

I attended the registered dental assisting program at Santa Barbara City College and received my Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Barbara. My first job in dentistry began in 1989 and I was happy to join Dr. Hepp's wonderful team in 2008.

I have three boys: Austin, Trevor, and Brody Blue. I love to be active whether that's going for a run or surfing at Campus Point!

  • JULIE KITTLE
    DENTAL ASSISTANT

I am a native and 4th generation Santa Barbarian.  I attended Santa Barbara City College's Dental Assisting program after graduating from San Marcos High School in 1992. I've worked with Dr. Hepp since 1993. I assist the doctors chair side, take x-rays, impressions, and the sterilization of rooms and instruments.

My husband Norm and I have 13 year old twins, Nate and Piper.  I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, the beach, and watching my kids play sports on the weekends when I'm not coaching youth and high school softball.

  • JILL PETERSEN
    OFFICE MANAGER

I've so enjoyed getting to know our patients and have learned a lot about dentistry from my husband, Dr. Hepp, since I joined the practice in 1998. I supervise and coordinate administrative functions for the office, help out at the front desk and make sure everything runs smoothly in both offices.

I hold a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota. Prior to joining the office, I worked as a CPA as well as in private industry.

Outside of the office I enjoy everything Santa Barbara has to offer in outdoor activities with my husband and our kids, Henry and Anna.  I feel lucky to live in such a wonderful community and to work with our amazing staff and patients.

  • GLORIA REID
    REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

I graduated from San Marcos High School then attended the Santa Barbara City College Dental Assisting program. I practiced as an RDA until I graduated attending Cerritos College Dental Hygiene program at UCLA School of Dentistry. I joined Dr. Hepp's practice in 1991 and love working with my team here.

I live in Carpinteria and outside of work I enjoy walking on the beach and getting outside!

  • MARLENA TADEO
    DENTAL ASSISTANT

I grew up in Carpinteria, CA. I joined the team in 2022 and assist Dr. Hepp with patient care, taking x-rays, setting up procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensure the rooms and tools are sterilized. I am also certified in x-rays and coronal polishing as well.

I love to be outside, going on hikes or playing a few rounds of volleyball, enjoying the beautiful SoCal scenery!

What Our Clients Say About Us

  • "From Pam's warm welcome at the front office to the exceptional care provided by Amy, Julie, and Dr. Hepp, my experience was truly exceptional. The staff's friendliness and flexibility in fitting me in for a last-minute filling touch-up made the visit a breeze, and Dr. Hepp and his team's thorough explanations and attentive approach ensured my comfort throughout the entire appointment."
    Kristina G.
  • "After only two visits to this dental office, I can report nothing but excellence. On both occasions, thoroughness and competence were obvious. The cleaning was gentle and was done with great care. A great personality must be one of the job requirements at this office; my visits have actually been fun. Enjoyed my third visit yesterday and can only reaffirm my initial observations; I’ll be darned if a visit isn’t actually enjoyable."
    Christine L.
  • "Excellent experience! All the office people are friendly and professional. My hygienist, Magdalena, is very thorough, gentle and knowledgeable. Dr. Hepp is fantastic! He does a great job at explaining your condition, and the treatment options. And, Dr. Hepp is just a good human :-)"
